Terms of Service
Effective: May 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between LaFleur Leadership Institute("we," "us," "our") and you, governing your access to and use of Forward(the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by LaFleur Leadership Institute. If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@forwardgoals.live.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By using the Service you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms (on your own behalf or for an organization you represent) and that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. The Service
Forward is an AI-assisted goal-coaching product. We provide tools for clarifying goals, generating SMART roadmaps, tracking habits and check-ins, and conversing with AI coaches across multiple life domains. Features differ by plan and may change over time.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@forwardgoals.live of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to facilitate illegal activity.
- Engage in fraud, spam, harassment, or abuse of other users or our staff.
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, denial-of-service, circumventing rate limits or technical controls).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where applicable law permits.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a competing product.
6. AI features and outputs
- The Service uses generative AI to produce coaching responses, roadmaps, and suggestions. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Always exercise your own judgment.
- Outputs are not professional advice. They are not a substitute for licensed medical, mental-health, financial, legal, or other professional services. If you may be in crisis, seek qualified help immediately.
- You are responsible for your prompts, how you use outputs, verifying accuracy, and confirming you have the rights to any input content you submit.
- You must not use the Service to generate illegal content, deepfakes targeting real people, hate speech, malware, or content that exploits minors, or to attempt to jailbreak or bypass safety controls.
- We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that violate these rules. Rights-holders who believe content infringes their rights may contact us at support@forwardgoals.live for takedown review; repeated infringement may result in termination.
7. Plans, payments, and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, currency, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Paid plans are offered on a recurring monthly or annual subscription basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or via paddle.net; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Free trials
Where offered, free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. The price charged will be the plan's then-current price for the cadence you selected.
9. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including all software, models, documentation, branding, and content we provide. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes during your subscription. As between you and us, you retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
10. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, legal requirement, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will retain or delete your data in line with our Privacy Notice.
12. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
14. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LaFleur Leadership Instituteis established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you different rights.
17. Assignment and miscellaneous
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Neither party will be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
